THE WOODLANDS – St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School earned accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accreditation division of AdvancED. This action was taken at the AdvancED Accreditation Commission meeting June 22.
Dr. Pat McCormack, director of the IHM Office of Formative Support for Parents and Teachers, Arlington, VA, presented a workshop on building self-esteem in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School students.
Deputy Jason Hopper and Deputy Brad Curtis, of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, presented an “Active Shooter Training” for the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School staff.
St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School 4th grade students enjoy projects that help stimulate creative thinking and allow students to learn the art of teamwork and problem solving. These fourth graders had to work together to save "Fred the Worm” by devising a plan to get the gummy worm through the gummy ring/"life preserver" and back into the cup/"home".
