Dear St Anthony of Padua Faculty, Staff and Parish Community,
I would like to start by thanking any and all who gave time, energy, thoughts, prayers, financial aid, amazing food, and of course love to someone whom you've probably never met.
All I am is a simple young man trying to find my path in life. I am infinitely grateful that I received my new liver, regardless of all the complications.
I am very humbled by all the people I don't know, and probably won't ever know, who have prayed for me. With 7 hospital admissions and countless trips to the medical center, it's been a struggle to say the least. I thank God that I have so many people in my family to help me through it all, especially my mom, Cathy Wogan.
I feel a strong calling to, once I am a bit better, visit liver patients and just be there for them. I feel like I owe so much to be alive after a random liver failure of a seemingly healthy young individual.
